Form V Basketball v Hollypark School

Well done to all the Form V girls who played a fantastic game of basketball against Hollypark School on Thursday. It was great to see all the Form V girls participate and we were really pleased with their overall effort. Both games were competitive and a great challenge for our teams. As the game progressed and the nerves dissipated, the skills our girls learned in their Games lessons and Thursday lunchtime basketball sessions came into full effect. Our passing and court spacing improved and our defence was relentless. Although all pupils played well, there were some stand out performances from our forwards Ayodeji and Teagan, who rebounded and defended well. Giulia, Safia, Alice and Lalia thrived in the guard position, passing the ball and balancing our plays by being in the correct position. We had fun and are looking forward to continuing to improve our basketball skills and developing our squad for future tournaments.
