ICT Update

This past term, the pupils in Form VI have been learning about robotics and coding. They worked in small groups and collaborated with their neighbouring class to design, build and program their robots. This new unit of their ICT lessons has helped them develop a number of transferable skills, such as gaining an understanding of mechanical structures and electronic modules, programming, as well as social and teamwork skills. We have also had a lot of fun in the process. It was great to see pupils such as Carlotta, Alex, Simon and Olivia receive ‘Engineer of the Week’ awards for their great work and leadership within their teams. All pupils from Pre-Prep up to Form VI have already begun their robotics and coding lessons, and it has been a huge success so far.
