    Girls’ A Hockey in Semi-Final

A Big Win for Girls A Team Hockey

For the fourth year in a row our Girls’ A hockey team secured a place in the Leinster League semi-finals. This is a massive achievement for our School and shows the commitment the girls have to their sport. They were so excited and well-prepared for the match against the Teresians School. As soon as the match started the girls scored. However, Teresians came back with a goal and soon followed this up with another. At half-time the score was 2-1 down, and the girls worked tirelessly in the second half, trying everything to get an equaliser but unfortunately, it was not to be and eventually Teresians won by 4-1. I am so proud of the girls as they really tried their best. I know they are very disappointed, but they should be so proud of themselves as they represented the School so well. Best of luck to the Teresians School in the finals. Well done girls! (Ms A Davey)
