A Great Performance at Santry

Our athletics team had a brilliant day at Santry on Monday 26th, despite the miserable weather. All the children enjoyed their events and competed valiantly in the hurdles, shot, high jump, long jump & 600m.  We had some major successes with David D & Gavin H coming fourth in the u11 600m and u11 high jump respectively and Douglas J placed fourth in the long jump. Julia T ran brilliantly in the girls u11 600m to claim fourth place and Sarah McG secured silver in the girls’ u11 hurdles. Aisling B ran phenomenally to win gold in the girls’ u12 hurdles, while Charlotte B stormed to gold in the u11 600m. Well done to all the competitors, a great effort by everyone.
