Form V Science Outing
We were lucky enough to have two glorious days in April for our Form V Science Outing to the seashore. We checked the tides as we needed the sea to be out, put on our waterproof shoes, and headed out to explore. We investigated rock pools and the creatures who live in them. We found sea anemones, crabs both alive and dead, limpets, barnacles, and even spotted some seals sunbathing. This hands-on experience allowed the children to incorporate their findings into their “Fashion a Fish” project. There is so much available to us on our doorstep and it was a lovely relaxing trip where the pupils got to work in small groups and make some fabulous sandcastles. Check out some of the newly discovered fish.
