X Factor – A Brilliant Night!

The children performed to their favourite songs on an amazing X Factor style set with very professional production. They certainly rose to the occasion and performed their hearts out! The evening was rounded off with great food, a disco and a catch up with friends.

A big thank you to Karen Peesker for making this such a huge success! Many thanks to Sherry McKenna, Kirsty Foynes, Sonja McGinn and Brian De-Alker for playing their part in the organisation of the event. Kevin Peesker took to the stage as MC and kept the show firmly on the road, many thanks to him. We are also very grateful to Joyce Richardson, who gave the groups huge encouragement and support with their choreography. Also thanks to Nicole Le Saout, who took such beautiful photos of the children. A final thank you to all the volunteers, including our Year VI Student Leaders. And a thank you to all our fantastic performers, each participant received a certificate and photograph with their act. We also intend to give each participant a DVD of the performances once it has been edited and replicated.

This was our main fundraising event this year and has raised in excess of €2,500 towards the new climbing frame. It really was a night to remember. Jack S from Montessori summed it all up with “That was a brilliant night, I am so proud to be going to Castle Park!”
